We had a wonderful day of prayerwalking back in Sunnyside and City Center, but today was a little different in that we walked through many of the parks they have here. How amazing to see the openess and the willingness to listen that we are seeing here. We've talked with moms with young children, many,many college students, and then unemployed men just hanging out. How thrilling today to see 4 men pray to receive Christ in one of the parks! Julius was able to get their names and can hopefully make follow up contacts with them. We had so much good individual prayer time with people today-God is just so good! After school let out we saw grade school children just too precious to believe. The little girls could not stop hugging Wanda and Mona-their faces just lit up when we said we were from America! So different from yesterday when a muslim man's face filled with hatred when Dave said he was from the U.S. The little boys could not get enough of Dave and his teaching them some simple knots with a rope. We are definitly hearing God saying that the young people of this country need to be reached.Tomorrow we will walk in the city again and then have some debriefing meetings about what we have been seeing and hearing.
Some of our prayer needs:
- Relief from leg and feet soreness and muscle fatigue
- Another good night's rest for all the team
- That the four men who became believers today will start reading in John tonight
- That the two young men who are so close to seeing their need for a savior will not be able to get what we shared with them out of their minds
- For the town of Gerhartsville where we will be in the afternoon to be open and receptive to us
- For the team tomorrow as we meet with Julius, Cliff and Cliff's supervisor Kurt Holliday. That we can each learn, listen and discern to hear God's word to us in this mission
We will post more pictures tomorrow and will include some of the girls this time. If you have any requests we do read your comments to us! We love to hear how you are praying for us back there. We are praying for you as well. We miss you dearly and can't wait to see you and share with you...the Africa team

Glad to hear that the good news is being heard in South Africa. We will be praying for the new believers as well as our continued prayers for 'you all.' Loved hearing about the haw-di-daw bird. That must be something hearing that sound every day. No sleeping in, I guess. We miss all of you and pray for your continued opportunities to share the gospel while you are there. Isaiah 40:31

Hi again. Saw your question from yesterday about uploading pictures and why they take so long. It may be that your Internet connection there is slow. Also, we have our online students use a Web site called www.picresize.com to make their pictures smaller in file size before uploading. This Web site is easy to use, does not charge, and allows you to save them back to your computer. Hope that is helpful.

I know God will continue to use you as His servants. But possibly you might protect the birds from Dave. Looking forward to the next update. May God continue to bless each one of you.

We are so privileged to pray for you! I'm praying so many things the Lord brings to mind - that you will clearly hear from Him and that each one of you will have a clear message to bring back to the church that we will clearly receive for His glory; I pray for you in the afternoon (your nighttime) so I am asking God each day to give you dreams and visions of what He plans to do their and how we can be His "skin" here on earth; so many more things too! Glory to Him for what He is doing for/through/in all of you each day. Sure do love you!
